The focus here though is to take what we learned in the previous campaign - and its events - and improve upon our play, economics, population management, and at the same time do better at hurting the other side than we did at defending it previously! Take the most inappropriate job for the sim as possible. Get in a fistfight with the welcome wagon. Replace the bed with the cheapest one possible.
In this second Campaign - thanks to the time travel capabilities of the Professor - we have the chance to put the situation to rights, as we play through what is essentially the same - but a parallel - time and story. My first day checklist: -Cook on the cheapest stove until the kitchen burns down. In the first Campaign we blindly followed Leon and The Order to achieve a horrible outcome. While it may be a bit confusing at first the reason that there are actually two Campaigns has to do with the fact that the game story is split into two parallel versions. Tropico was closed after Limitation Order L-208 shut down the Ruth Mine near Trona in 1942 but rock from Tropico Hill was used in the construction of air strips in the Antelope Valley for this reason, the Burton brothers were able to keep a small crew on site that helped keep the mine dewatered and timbering intact.
